Good Rockin' Christmas
02:16
|
|||
Hey everybody, now listen up here
You know that this time only comes once a year
There's bells in the city, and cool colored lights
And everybody's goin' off their diet tonight
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas this year
The kids are excited, and gone all aglow
They're making snow angels there out in the snow
Good friends from afar, yeah they've come into town
We'll have them all over and party on down
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas this year
We'll party on down, and we'll have so much fun
Make times to remember for some time to come
And then later on, we can make some romance
I've got mistletoe stuffed down in my pants
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas
We'll have a good rockin' Christmas this year

A Candle for Marley
03:20
|
|||
Well, Tiny Tim's a grown man now
He's all I hoped and more
And Cratchit is my partner
As he should have been before
My steps are now an older man's
As I walk through the church house door
And light a candle for Marley
Like so many times before
Ten years ago this Christmas Eve
His ghost came to my room
He interceded for me
And helped forestall my doom
He held a light out for me
Though I lived in the darkness then
I light a candle for Marley
My oldest, truest friend
Is his spirit still in chains?
Will his sorrows cease?
Could the gift he gave to me
Help to bring him peace?
I try to keep my Christmastime
Alive through all the year
I whisper out my secret prayer
And hope that God will hear
And though my visions fading
As the bells in the church tower toll
I light a candle for Marley
The man who saved my soul

Drunk Tank For Christmas
05:05
|
|||
I'm in the drunk tank for Christmas this year
All because of that fatal glass of beer
I'm sad, and I'm ashamed
And I feel about half-past dead
What's worse, I'm in my Santa suit
With the cap upon my head
Got off my shift at the big department store
I had a drink, and then I had ten more
I fell right off my feet in the alley by the street
And the little kids were pointing
Saying "Santa's gone to sleep"
I guess I lost my lucky Santa job
I'm sharing smokes with Luke and Billy Bob
The cop said "Ho ho ho!"
But he wouldn't let me go
At least I'm spending Christmastime
Out of the ice and snow
I should have stayed with Mamma
In the house up on the hill
But the city lights looked mighty bright to me
Then I found out that show business
Wasn't quite the way it seemed
And a drunken Santa, sitting in jail's
Not who I want to be
I'm in the drunk tank for Christmas this year
No lights, no elves and no reindeer
But by next year you'll see
I'll be with my family
And no more drunk tank for Christmas next year
No more drunk tank for Christmas for me

Christmas In The Park
06:13
|
|||
Just look at all those pretty lights,
And the people walking by
Children skating on the pond
While the parents keep an eye
But I'm watching through the bushes
'Cause I'm on the other side
I don't want to scare nobody
I want their Christmas to be fine
We're further out here in the woods
Closer to the railroad track
And we're sleeping rough out in our tents
And our homemade cardboard shacks
It isn't really where we want to be,
But it's where we've got to go
Yeah, I'm watching through the bushes
At the Christmas tree aglow
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
Crazy Marty brought some fruitcake
From a dumpster dive somewhere
And the Samuels family brought a casserole
From the food bank in the square
And don't ask me where Ed got it,
But he brought a jug of wine
We might not be where we want to be,
But we'll give this a Christmas try
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
I watch the children playin'
In our homeless hideaway
There's so many things I'd like to do
And so much I'd like to say
If I had the gifts of Jesus
I'd turn water into wine
And I'd build these kids a Christmas
Where the whole world would be fine
Yeah, I wonder how I got here
Like so many times before
There's so many times I stumbled
I might of just walked the wrong road
Now, the next year might be different
And we'll all be living high
But we'll work with what we got here
And give this a Christmas try
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
Christmas in the park is still Christmas
Christmas in the park is still Christmas

Secret Santa Baby
02:17
|
|||
Well, you made my season happy
You made my season bright
When you slipped into my bedroom
In the dark of Christmas night
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
I guess that you're a little crazy
I know that you're a little weird
You made your holiday entrance
In nothin' but a cap and a beard
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
I know that you were incognito
But I can guess who you might be
Come on, leave your disguise at home
And get with me on New Year's Eve
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby
Secret Santa, Baby

Beowulf Kingsley Grass Lake Charter Township, Michigan
Todd was here before. Perhaps you recognize him from back then. He looked different then, though. If you think he owes you any money, he was probably some other guy. Those other guys are gone now. We think they may be in Guam, or possibly Kansas.
