Again, I was challenged during a song workshop to write something based on a photo. There's a picture of me and my Mom at a festival I played in our town of Ann Arbor for many years ago...that's where this came from. I had the lyrics written for a long time before I got the rest of it together. And I still have boxes and boxes of photos to sort through, years after Ma's passing. But the pictures in my mind, those are the ones worth keeping.

To look through all these photographs

The children's voices in the breeze
A festival I played in town
And in the foreground, you and me
